Margaret Arnold, Ph. D. Senior Research Associate

Dr. Arnold received her Ph.D. from the University of Augsburg where she wrote her published dissertation: gAspekte einer modernen Neurodidaktik.?Emotionen und Kognitionen im Learnprozessh (Verlag Ernst Voegel |81827 Muenchen, 2002).? In her dissertation she translated the Cainefs work into German.?She has traveled extensively visiting major neuroscience research institutions in the United States, England in order to validate her findings and implications.

Presently Dr. Arnold is on leave from the University and is a post doctoral researcher at the Caine Learning Institute in Idyllwild, CA.?She is working on linking research and neuroscientific findings on the functions of the prefrontal cortex to teaching and pedagogy.

Her research describes how teaching has to be changed in order to meet the new view of learning implied by the neurosciences.
