For the past four years, I have served as the Director of the Macomb Academy of Arts and Sciences in the Armada Area Schools, Armada, Michigan, a regional math/science center (students attend for 1/2 day) for honors-level students grades 9-12.
My leadership style at the school is embedded in systems thinking and complexity theory. We are especially pleased with our focus on creative thinking and an environment where students and staff experience Relaxed Alertness, Orchestrated Immersion and Active Processing.
From 1997-2003 I served as a member of the board of education in my home community. For four of those seven years, I sat as president of the board.
