Caine Learning Center

Our Courses
Course 1: How to improve teaching using the Caines' Brain/Mind Learning Principles

A five day intensive in which we go in depth into the Brain/Mind Learning Principles using our unique Process Learning Circles format.  Educators improve their skills with direct instruction in a way that is compatible with traditional school culture by gaining a deep understanding of the learning capacities that all students have.  They also build the foundation for the next phase.

For those who wish to become Associates, an additional trwo day program is added.
Course 2: Natural Learning in Action

A five day intensive in which educators make the shift to constructivist teaching, grounded in the new cooperative school culture,  by means of what we call the global experience model.  They see how to create experiences that elicit student questions and choices, and then learn how to embed the curriculum in a student driven process of learning.  Course 1 is a prerequisite.

We offer individual courses and  long term professional development for educators, lead teachers, parents and others who wish to develop and master our theory and practice for their own use.  Professional and Degree Applicable Credit available
